Important Grant Information

Hospitality Tax County Promotions Grants provide financial support to organizations and projects whose primary mission is to attract tourists by promoting dining and overnight accommodations in unincorporated areas of Richland County. Please read all guidelines carefully as this program and grant criteria have changed! A grant writing workshop will be held on January 25, 2012 at 2020 Hampton Street in Council Chambers, 2nd Floor. The workshop will be from 2:00 – 4:00 pm.  Please register by calling (803) 576-2069 or by emailing salleys@rcgov.us.

On January 10, 2012, Richland County Council approved changes to the County Promotions H-Tax program. These changes will take place in the FY13 funding cycle and beyond. Please note the changes in the revised Guidelines and Application found below. Applicants must use the revised application form when applying for FY13 funds. Please note that there will only be one round of applications accepted in FY13.
