Richland County currently delivers a vast amount of property and public record information via the Internet. To address numerous requests for expanded delivery, Richland County is responding with a new premier service.

Richland County has created a registration and fee-based subscription service for the online viewing of images stored with the Richland County Probate Court and the Richland County Register of Deeds Office (ROD). Richland County is taking steps to add additional county data to this premier fee-based service.

Here’s how it works:

The sign up process involves establishing an account using your email address. Once this has been set up, you can then select a subscription to whichever department’s records you wish to access.

Currently available are Register of Deeds and Probate Court records. Subscriptions are available for Daily, Weekly, Monthly and Annual frequencies, however, separate subscriptions are needed if you wish access to both. Once your account is set up, you may view the costs for the subscriptions without subscribing and come back later to subscribe if you wish.

Please note there is an approval process before you are able to subscribe to Probate Court records. The Probate Court office will review your application and you will be notified by email when approved.

Indexed data and images exist for the Register of Deeds records search for those documents recorded on or after 2/19/1998. Indexed data only is available for documents recorded prior to 2/19/1998.

Both the Register of Deeds property records search and Probate Court estate records search are the same search available when you visit these departments at the County courthouse at 1701 Main St.
